J R F. Portenier, 55 of Peetz passed away Wednesday, December 14,
2016 at his home in Peetz. A Pot Luck Memorial will be on January 7
from noon to 4 pm at the Sidney Shelter House in Sidney, NE.
J R was born on September 1, 1961 in Seattle, Washington to Ron and Virginia Portenier. He received his associates in engineering from WACC. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, spending time with friends, his dog Buddy and his grandchildren.
J R is survived by his father Ron Portenier; sons David and Dennis; daughter Desireau (Jesse) Olson; grandchildren Preston, Jake, Porsha, Ashlee, Kyson; siblings Jay (Rhonda) Portenier, Kathy (Don) Hickox, Mark (Jennifer) Portenier, Dirk Portenier, Linda (Dan) House.
He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Portenier, brothers Timothy and Bruce Portenier, and sister Ronha Nadeau.
